Lindsay Sklar, M.D.

Dr. Sklar is a board certified dermatologist and Mohs surgeon on staff at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, where she graduated with honors. After playing professional basketball overseas for a year, she completed her medical training at Wayne State University, where she received the Academic Achievement Award and Distinction in Biomedical Research Award. After medical school, she completed an internship at St. John’s Hospital in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, followed by a dermatology residency at Wayne State University, where she served as chief resident.

Dr. Sklar completed her Mohs micrographic surgery and cutaneous oncology fellowship in addition to her laser surgery and cosmetics fellowship at the University of California, Davis and the Laser & Skin Surgery Center of Northern California. She has over fifteen publications, which include research on surgical technique, cosmetics, and the effects of light on the skin.

Dr. Sklar focuses on surgical, cosmetic, general, and pediatric dermatology. She has special interest in dermatologic and Mohs surgery, as well as neurotoxins (Botox) and fillers (Restylane and Juvederm products)

She continues to work and teach at Wayne State University and has been honored with the Voluntary Faculty Award in 2019. Dr. Sklar has been named a “Top Doc”  by Hour Magazine every year since 2019.

Nadine Shabeeb, M.D.

Dr. Shabeeb grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. She attended Northwestern University and graduated from the Medill School of Journalism, with notable experience working at People Magazine in Manhattan, NY. She then went on to obtain her Master of Public Health from the University of Illinois-Chicago. She attended the Indiana University School of Medicine and was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. She completed her internship at Ascension St. Vincent in Indianapolis, IN, and then completed Dermatology residency at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, where she served as chief resident in her final year. After her residency, Dr Shabeeb practiced dermatology in Madison, WI before moving with her family to metro Detroit.

Dr. Shabeeb has authored multiple publications in several peer-reviewed medical journals. She specializes in the treatment of a wide variety of skin disorders. She understands the significant impact of skin conditions, and she strives to work together with her patients to create individualized treatment plans.

Outside of work, Dr. Shabeeb enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, trying new restaurants, and cheering on Chicago sports teams.

Tarana “Tara” Mohammadi, M.D.

Dr. Mohammadi is a graduate of the University of Michigan where she earned a bachelor’s degree in brain, behavior, and cognitive science. She attended Wayne State University School of Medicine and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society as well as the Gold Humanism Honor Society. Dr. Mohammadi completed her transitional internship at Beaumont Hospital in Dearborn before completing a three-year dermatology residency at the John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago.

After her residency, Dr. Mohammadi practiced dermatology near Boston, Massachusetts. She and her husband moved back to Michigan in 2018.

Dr. Mohammadi has made numerous professional presentations to dermatologists and other groups and has co-authored research papers in several medical journals. She is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Dermatology, Michigan Dermatological Society and Michigan State Medical Society. She has staff privileges at Beaumont Hospital.

Dr. Mohammadi has been named a “Top Doc” by Hour Magazine every year since 2020.

Sook “Susan” Hwang, M.D.

Dr. Hwang was born in Seoul, South Korea, and immigrated to the United States with her family at a young age. Following in the footsteps of her entrepreneurial parents, she earned a BA in Economics and Business from Kalamazoo College. After working as a market analyst, Dr. Hwang found her calling in medicine and was fortunate enough to have attended Wayne State University School of Medicine on a full scholarship. During her internship year at Crittenton Hospital, she served as chief resident and was honored with a Transitional Year Resident Recognition Award. She then completed dermatology residency training at Cook County Health in Chicago, IL where she was chief resident during her final year. Dr. Hwang was also a cutaneous oncology fellow at Ohio State University, where she facilitated several clinical trials to advance treatments for cutaneous lymphoma.

Dr. Hwang is committed to providing quality, patient-centered care and is focused on a personalized treatment approach.

Dr. Hwang loves calling Michigan her home and lives with her husband and two daughters. During her free time, she enjoys photography, sewing, and spending time with her family.
